Christmas CountDown: Free Gifts

Welcome to another week of Christmas Countdown Ideas! Before you know it, Christmas will be here, are you ready yet?

This week we are going to look into obtaining Free Gifts with Giveaways. There seems to be a trend lately (and fortunately!) of lots & lots of Giveaways to enter!

Now winning a giveaway is by chance, but the more you enter, the better your chances! I already have won 3 giveaways myself in the past 2 months , so its not impossible and the gifts that you win can be placed in your Christmas Box to use for presents that you got for Free!

To enter a giveaway, you need a strategy. First you need to read through the entry requirements. This is important! I myself have deleted entries because of incorrect entries where the listed requirements were ignored. Please do not go to a giveaway and write in that yes, you want to enter. You need to follow the guidelines!

The guidelines itself can be anywhere from just posting a comment or by visiting the Giveaway’s Sponsor and viewing their products. This is important for 2 reasons:

1. The Company who is offering their product for Free WANT you to become a customer! The giveaway is a marketing stategy that offers them Free Advertising at the cost of providing a product.  So, please do take the time to browse the offering company’s site and legitimately make a comment in the giveaway’s post:)
2. By getting a successful turnaround from a Blog’s hosting site, the company will likely be back to that Blog to offer more new products for future giveaways which means more Free Giveaways for you!

Extra Entries! Most giveaways will offer you additional opportunities to gain more entries either by Subscribing to a newsletter/Rss Feed or Blogging about it, etc. DO take those extra chances!!They bring you a step closer tobecoming a winner. I cannot stress this enough! The more entries you have, the better your chances are at winning:) Most giveaway hosts use a random number generator to choose the winner, so the more entries you have, you increase your odds of winning compared to that other entrant who only entered once!

Always leave an email for the host to be able to contact you in the event that you are not a regular of that particular Blog (which of course, I’m sure you are:) But just in case one day you don’t happen to pop in, and the winners are announced, if the host has no way to contact you, then you lost out:( So please make sure that after every entry comment, leave your email addy as a safety precaution!

Finding the giveaways itself used to be random, but there has been an increase in Blogs dedicated just for this purpose- to give you Free Gifts! Below is a list of my favorite sites where you can find Giveaways of all kinds, just click on banners to be taken to the sites:
