My sister has been continually asking about the Black Friday ads so that we can plan our shopping strategy. This will be our 1st Black Friday out, so I’m not sure whether to dread it or get excited! Given the current economic status right now, I can imagine the mobs that will be out this year which may not make it as exciting as I am hoping it to be.
Also note: Because of the economy, many retailers are actually starting the discounts early this year in hopes to get your business before Black Friday! So be sure to look for some great deals that may not be around for Black Friday.
My Stategy involves a few Tips to get the Most out of our 1st Black Friday Spree
- Research all the Sales Flyers so I don’t miss out on any coupons that are valid only on Black Friday
- Start Comparing prices at Stores now so that I know what a good deal regardless of the word “Sale”
- Take advantage of The Early Bird Specials & Discounts. I know some stores offer bigger discounts early on the morning as oppose to later on in the day so i plan on knowing which stores will be offering the deepest discount prices ( as well as a Free Goodies- last year, Sears gave out small gift bags which I missed out on!)
Here are a few Black fridays Ads that can help you jumpstart your Holiday Shopping Spree!

We love doing the Black Friday sales. It is always mayhem with lots of people who need a few extra hours of sleep. I find great deals on holiday items, electronics, and other household goods. Fun to me!
Tieshia’s last blog post..Free movie tonight? Redbox Code 11/10/08~ Good tonight only!
ok so i go almost every year (depending on the money situation) and I love it and I normally get some outrageously good deals..I am SO a thrifty shopper and I love Black Friday…This year I am taking my best friend Cassey…This will be her first year
Sometimes it is mayhem…sometimes it isnt…just depends on the area..There are ALWAYS long lines at our walmart at 4 am…
Kelly’s last blog post..I have lots of catching up to do…
I love Black Friday sales, but I’ve been lazy and just enjoying Cyber Monday sales from the comfort of my own desk for the last few years. It’s so much easier than getting up before dawn to get a good deal! Plus I remember all too well working 14 hour shifts in retail on Black Friday… Happy to not have to do that anymore!
The sites you shared are great for Black Friday deals. I also use http://www.dealio.com/black-friday.html, and have been following @cyber_monday on Twitter to get any new Cyber Monday deals.
Thanks for the info!
