Sisterly Savings

I think this year we will be taking a different approach with SS which is why I have been toying with a few new ideas to implement here and those ideas will be shared with you in the upcoming weeks ahead.

While I have been undecided with what direction I want to take Blogging into, I want to take it (as Emril would say)  “Up a Notch” yet I do not want to take anything away either.

So the best way to start off would be with a new schedule in place and add to it slowly as we work our way to bigger and hopefully better things this year.

The first to our schedule will be focusing on 1 Theme each month where we will have postings dedicated to only that topic. Each week I will post the topic and offer up the floor to my readers for any posts they may have related to the week’s topic.

We will also be offering giveaways that are related to the Themes as well to make it even more exciting!

This month’s theme will be dedicated soley to Household Organization where we will discuss Tips and Ideas to keep each room of the home fully organized .

I picked this theme only because it is something I am personally working on in my own home and what better motivation to keep me moving along in my own quest!

With that being said, you can look for our 1st post later today in getting started and we’ll post twice a week for this next month in this Series.

Next up on our agenda is announcing the winner to our Lily on the Fly Giveaway that was given awhile back. Sorry for the delay but I got so sidetracked with everything going on since last November! And the winner is Paige! I’ll send an email so that we can get your prize out to you ASAP!!! Thanks to all who entered!

We will still be offering the weekly deal posts and in that field I am looking for regular weekly writers to post CVS, Walgreen’s and Rite Aid Deals. The weekly contributors will get a spot on our editors page along with their bio and button. If interested, please send us an email and what store you would like to cover:)

In addition,on Mondays, we will be having a weekly giveaway post where you can list your own giveaways in a Mr Linky. Also, if you would like a highlighted giveaway post, on the main page of SS, we will be offering Highlighted Spots for only $1 which will run for a week but will be at the top for all to see for more exposure to your Contest/Giveaway. More details will come on that.

We also will be hosting a Weekly Savings Guide/Frugal Tips Series where we will take your notable posts regarding that week’s topic and placing them in a post with credit back to you. See above sticky note for more information and get those posts in!!

Freebies and Good Deals will still be an Integral foundation to SS along with Frugal Recipes from Erin @ $5 Dollar Dinners.
