Sneaking Fruits & Veggies Into Your Toddler’s Diet: Tell Us Your Tips on Twittermoms to enter Contest!!
September 28, 2009 by Jennifer
There is a new contest being held by TwitterMoms & Horizon Little Blends and its all about how you get your toddlers to eat their fruits and veggies!
For my family, they are a picky bunch. Where one will eat brocoli, 2 refuse to and so forth. So a few tricks I do is to add to some veggies to some of the dishes I make:
For omelettes, I add spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes and they never know the difference. Now try to give them a bowl of spinach alone and you can forget it, they won’t touch it!
Adding carrots ,green beans to and squash a pot roast also is another way I get them to eat them without realizing they are a separate dish!
Fruits we don’t have a problem at all because they generally like all fruits- especially bananas in their cereal/oatmeal!
What are a few tricks you have up your sleeve? Enter the contest over at Twittermom and leave your tips!! First 100 to enter will win a prize for a Thermos snack jar and a coupon for the new Horizon Little Blends yogurt plus a giveaway for their very own readers!
