I am currently participating in a Secret Santa that was hosted by TJ Maxx and Marshall’s where we were assigned another blogger to send a gift to. I was also provided with (2) $25 Marshall’s gift cards- one to buy my designated blogger a gift and one for mysef (Thank You Marshall’s & Victoria!).
Now for $25 you really can’t buy much these days other than 1 or 2 presents that actually are worth it (this does not include all of us frugal mommies who CAN get wonderful gifts for less) and for not really knowing my person, I was a little concerned about what to buy.
Me and my daughter ran into Marshall’s last Saturday ready to see what gifts we can pick out for my “blogger”. I thought I was going to have a difficult time choosing a gift for a person that I don’t even know, but as I walked in the front door, my fears quickly came to pass as right there was a huge display of wonderful gifts and sets that were all so festive and decorated nicely.
Now for $25, I thought I was going to get 2 gifts, but I was able to grab 4 wonderful items to make up my “Secret Santa” present. After much thought, I went with a “Home Spa” theme and I found so many pretty items all adorned in sweet pinks (Gee, I hope she likes pink as much as I do-fingers crossed) and gingerbread themed.
So what did I get? I got the following:
*Sugar Spa Foot Set with Scented Sugar Foot Lotion and Soft Spa Socks (sooo soft!)
*3 High Fragrance Glass Room Sprays in Jasmine (this was in an ultra adorable gift box with bow!!)
*7 Piece Pedicure Set
*Peony Flower Hand Cream (oh, this smelled so wonderful that I had to pick myself up one!)
I had gingerbread themed tissue paper already and I wrapped all the items in a box, added a card and off it went.
I have to say, I was pretty surprised at how much I was able to get and quite happy with my gifts. I just hope my recipient enjoys it as much as I did shopping for her!!
The moral of my story? If your looking for gifts that are inexpensive, then you definitely want to stop in at TJ Maxx or Marshall’s to get the most presents for your dollar, I know I sure did!!

I still need gifts for 2 nephews, 4 nieces, and my darling husband! Help!!

Oh, I still need a little something for my sister. I just went to TJ Maxx for the very first time the other day. Little did I know that I’d need a cart. My hands were overflowing with toys….such deals. Unbelievable, really.

I headed out this morning to buy my last gifts: stuff for my brother. He is INFAMOUSLY difficult to buy for.
I actually went to TJ Maxx because I needed to pick up a pair of shoes for myself (purple suede wedges with a ruffled flower on the toe – SO CUTE!)… and completely forgot about my brother.
Guess I’ll have to check back on Monday.

It looks like I’m a day too late for this contest, but for what it’s worth I still need to get a gift for my mom, and both TJ Maxx and Marshalls are great store for inexpensive high quality gifts.
