For those of us who bought Dannon Activia and DanActive yogurt products because of the health benefits that were being advertised, there has been a class act settlement that entitles Dannon to pay out up to $45 million in damages for false advertisment. Some of the false claims bering reported are:
“helps strengthen your body’s defenses”
“helps support the immune system”
If you purchased any of the Dannon products in the past (or current), you are entitled to part of the settlement! See details below:
Dannon has launched an Internet site designed to answer consumer questions about how to receive up to a $100 rebate check. Deadline to apply for a refund is Oct. 1. The checks could arrive as soon as November.

For checks of $15 to $30, no receipt is necessary. Just fill out the claim form.
For claims of $30 to $100, receipts are required.
The size of the damage checks will depend on the number of claims that are filed.
