It’s Christmas in June with the New Toys”R” Us Christmas Savers Club!

I know, I know. It’s the middle of June, the kids are barely finished with school, end of year activities, graduations, etc. and the LAST thing you wanna hear – or even think about for that matter-is the word “Christmas”! Right?

But we as we savvy mommies all know, the early bird catches the $avings and the best time to start planning for Christmas is ideally, right after Christmas, lol! To be honest, I don’t have anything stashed for Christmas this year other than $55 (in our Christmas Fund Envelope) and a $20 target gift card that I got for free. Yup, that’s it. Last year at about this time, my gift closet was brimming so I better get on the ball!!

To help you plan for this year’s Christmas, Toy’s R Us has come out with a new Christmas Savers Club, and I have to admit- I am excited about it!!  The Christmas savers Club allows you to begin setting aside money with the added benefit of earning a bonus, simply for saving early!

And those who sign up for the Christmas Savers Club, between now and October 16, 2010, will also receive a three percent bonus based on the total funds they save. That’s free money!!

To maximize the amount of time to save for holiday purchases, the 3 % bonus will be added to shoppers’ cards on October 31, 2010, for the kickoff of the holiday shopping season, so you’ll have that extra money just in time for the Holidays!

With my family being on a budget, I can set aside a set amount each month and come Christmas, I will have one less thing to worry about! I’m all for it

The colorful pamphlet features the iconic Toys“R”Us mascot, Geoffrey® the Giraffe, dressed in a Santa suit depositing coins into his Christmas Savers Club piggy bank.

The brochure also includes a helpful Savings Tracker, where sensible shoppers can account for each time they add value to their card, as well as a pocket holder, to organize and store receipts in one convenient location!
